The board of directors of Alizz Islamic Bank announced the appointment of Ali al Mani as the bank’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Ali al Mani brings over 22 years of experience in the finance and banking industry, having worked in both the Islamic and conventional banking sectors. His expertise spans various domains, including corporate banking, retail banking, operations, finance, project management, and technology, according to a press statement released by the bank.
Mani has held various leadership positions at major local banks throughout his career. Prior to joining Alizz Islamic Bank, he served as the Deputy CEO of National Finance Company, where he oversaw the performance of one of Oman’s largest finance companies.
Ali al Mani holds a Master’s degree in Innovation, Leadership, and Management from York University, UK. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Applications and Internet from the University of Bedfordshire, UK. Furthermore, he holds a range of specialized qualifications in banking and finance.
