Imperial Crown Communications (Pvt.) Limited (ICCPL) arranged a two-day training programme on digital media marketing for travel and tour operators at a local hotel in Lahore in partnership with one of the leading multilateral organizations.
The event drew a large number of participants from the sector’s SMEs. During the class, participants learned how to efficiently and effectively plan, conduct, and track digital media marketing strategies in order to boost their sales and revenues. Employees and CEOs of travel and tour companies attended the training.
In his opening remarks, ICCPL CEO Abu Bakar Salman said that the hospitality industry has been experiencing a swing in fortunes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, FY 2020-21 has been a difficult year for Pakistan’s hospitality market, including hotels, restaurants, and travel and tour operators, with many SMEs disappearing from the landscape. The government of Pakistan, as well as multilateral organizations, are assisting in the revival of this field.
Ehtisham Naeem, CEO of Everluck Travelling and Tours, said at the event that digital media channels are the most cost-effective and efficient platforms for micro, small, and mid-sized businesses to showcase their brands, products, and services.
