Rotana appoints Tarek Daou as new cluster director of food & beverage

Erbil Rotana and Erbil Arjaan by Rotana, two prominent hospitality establishments in Kurdistan, have announced the appointment of Tarek Daou as their new cluster director of food and beverage. With an impressive track record spanning over two decades in the international luxury hotel industry, upscale catering operations, and independent F&B ventures, Daou brings a wealth of diverse experiences to his new role.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, Daou emphasized the immense potential that Erbil holds and his eagerness to contribute his expertise to the city’s dynamic culinary scene. He outlined his commitment to curating unforgettable dining experiences for guests and setting new benchmarks in the realm of food and beverage offerings.

Chadi Nicolas, the cluster general manager of Erbil Rotana and Erbil Arjaan by Rotana, lauded Daou’s appointment as a significant milestone for the establishments. He underscored the seamless alignment between Daou’s extensive F&B expertise and the group’s unwavering dedication to delivering unparalleled guest experiences. Nicolas expressed anticipation for the innovative contributions Daou will bring to enhance the overall dining experiences at the properties.

In recent news, Rotana has also revealed its strategic entry into Senegal with the forthcoming Les Zeniths Arjaan by Rotana in Dakar. Set to be completed by 2026, the property will fall under the renowned Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana brand. Offering 150 fully furnished spacious studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, the property will boast the Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club, featuring a comprehensive array of fitness and relaxation facilities. The environmentally conscious project, nestled in Diamniadio, is positioned to cater to the needs of both leisure and business travellers, with its assortment of amenities and services tailored to elevate the guest experience.

With a robust presence across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Turkey, Rotana currently operates 72 hotels, welcoming over six million guests annually. The group’s expansive portfolio comprises 10,159 keys across 36 hotels in the UAE, showcasing its commitment to exceptional hospitality services and continued growth in key international markets.
