Mansoor Rana, a former cricketer for Pakistan, has been appointed director of the Qalandars High Performance Centre in Lahore (QHPC).

Rana was formerly the team manager for the Pakistan cricket team and the batting coach for Lahore Qalandars.

In this new position, Mansoor Rana will be responsible for the development of young cricketers as well as the global promotion of QHPC.

More than 300 national and international aspiring male and female cricketers train at the QHPC, which is equipped with cutting-edge facilities.

Atif Rana, CEO of the Lahore Qalandars, has expressed thanks while welcome Mansoor Rana to his new position.

“Mansoor Rana has a wealth of cricketing experience, and he has been a Qalandars Dil se for the past three years. Atif opined, “I am confident that he will introduce innovative ideas to enhance the quality and reputation of QHPC in the future.”

Sameen Rana, Chief Operating Officer of the Lahore Qalandars, also greeted Mansoor.

“We are glad to announce the appointment of Mansoor Rana as Director of QHPC. Sameen stated, “This cricketing family has a great deal of potential, and we have offered him a new position to utilise his managerial experience in producing high-quality cricketers worldwide.”

Following his appointment, Mansoor anticipated working with the Qalandars.

“I feel privileged to join the Lahore Qalandars as the Director of QHPC. Since PSL 5, I have been Qalandars Dil se, but this new job would be hard. Mansoor stated, “We certainly believe that Lahore Qalandars is a family, and with brains like Aqib Javed, Sameen Rana, and Atif Rana, I will do my best to improve QHPC’s standing in the cricketing world.”

It should be mentioned that Lahore Qalandars are the reigning Pakistan Super League winners (PSL).

The opening ceremony for the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League will be held in Multan on February 13 prior to the tournament opener between the 2021 champion Multan Sultans and the Lahore Qalandars; the closing ceremony and final will be held in Lahore, which will also host the play-offs, on March 19.
