For the next three years, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has appointed new non-official members for the department.
The selection includes six new members, all of whom were approved by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab. All choices take effect instantly.

- Hamesh Khan: Commissioner at Punjab Healthcare Commission,
- Nabil Shahzad: COO & Founder of Convenience Stores, Director Innovation at TBRIX Lahore.
- Hammad Mehmood Cheema: Principal & Dean at School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES) & NUST
