SM Muneer, a prominent businessman and the chief patron of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), has died in Karachi.
Former KATI president Danish Khan has confirmed SM Muneeer’s passing.
Today, Muneer suffered a cardiac arrest. He was repeatedly elected president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).
SM Muneer was Chairman of Din Group of Industries. In addition, he was the head of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). In addition to his association with the leather business, the renowned industrialist also sat on the boards of directors of many corporations and institutions.
Respected political and business figures mourned SM Muneer’s passing with profound sadness.
