Saqib H. Shirazi, the CEO of Atlas Honda motorcycles and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL), has been elected as the next head of the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
Details indicate that on September 30, 2022, PAMA had its annual elections, during which time Shirazi was chosen as the new chairman by the membership. The group also chose Masafumi Harano, managing director of Pak Suzuki Motor Company, and Sohail Bashir Rana, director of Millat Tractors, to serve as vice-chairmen.
For the third time since the association’s founding, Shirazi has been chosen as its chairperson. Lt. Gen (R.) Ali Kuli Khan Khattak, the CEO of Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL), and Ali Asghar Jamali, the chairman of Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), were his predecessors, respectively.
Saqib Shirazi expressed his opinions and reaffirmed his dedication to putting the interests of all parties, including car companies, suppliers, retailers, and customers, first.
