Syed Naveed Qamar sworn as the Minister of Commerce

Syed Naveed Qamar is a Pakistani politician who has served in the Pakistani National Assembly since August 2018.

Qamar received his B.Sc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Manchester University in 1976. He did his MS in Management from Northrop University in 1978 and received his MBA degree from California State University in 1979.

He has been in the National Assembly of Pakistan since 1990. And in the 2018 Pakistani general election, he was re-elected to the National Assembly as a PPP candidate, he has been the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Commerce. Now in Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet, he has been given the portfolio of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
