Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary is a Pakistani engineer and politician who now holds the position of Secretary-General of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). Since August 2018, he has been a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly. From 1993 to 1999, and again from 2008 to May 2018, he served in the National Assembly.
After winning the Narowal constituency NA-117 in the 1993 Pakistani general election, he was elected to the National Assembly for the first time. In 1993, he worked as the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Policy and Public Affairs Assistant.
He was re-elected in 2018 and now sworn as the Minister of Planning and Development in Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet.
