TPL Trakker Limited (TPLT) has won PTA’s contract for the establishment of a web-based Geographical Information System (GIS) System for the planning and implementation of 5G services in Pakistan.

TPL Maps’ location services platform, which was launched in July 2020 and has over 6 million geocoded Points of Interest (PoIs) and over 600,000 kilometers of digitized road network, is Pakistan’s largest and only commercially accessible localization platform.

TPLT will be able to access the telecoms market segment with its emerging digital mapping solutions, enhancing the sector’s present planning and growth potential. According to the release, it would boost revenue for the company’s digital mapping business segment and is “another demonstration of market confidence in our commercial strategy to sell maps.”
