WorldCall is collaborating with World Mobile Group to establish an integrated digital economy landscape that will enable them to provide their customers with a cutting-edge Digital ID and a secure e-Wallet.

Subscribers would become part of the digital economy ecosystem, and using their unique Digital ID, all types of on-demand services aimed at education, health, and other service sectors could be launched.

In this regard, WorldCall Telecom Limited (WTL) has formed a close commercial partnership with the World Mobile Group (WMG) for the purpose of deploying a blockchain-based service management solution.

This arrangement would ensure the continued provision of affordable broadband connectivity throughout Pakistan, in addition to the company’s current roll-out projects.

The new endeavour would contribute significantly to WTL’s transformation into a significant technology-driven business entity. The operator is currently implementing a rapid roll-out strategy through Fiber To The Home (FTTH) and “Broadband for All” projects.

World Mobile Group is pioneering one of the most innovative and exciting adaptations of blockchain deployments in legacy telecom infrastructure, with the goal of promoting “Connect the Unconnected” globally.

With more people globally remaining unconnected than connected (4 billion vs. 3 billion), WMG’s mission is to enable telecoms to deliver services where traditional business models have failed.

WMG’s solution enables unprecedented network monetization, with all subscribers targeting the global digital economy while telecom operators remain an integral part of the value chain. WTL stands to gain enormously from this exclusive relationship within Pakistan.

With its fiber-optic infrastructure and network connectivity already in place, subscriber signup and connectivity in its current FTTH and Broadband for All projects would be significantly increased.

WTL would use this technology to maximize revenue from its broadband connectivity and to augment its revenue streams at a low cost.
