Descon Power Solutions appoints Toseef Ijaz Rana as the new CEO

Toseef Ijaz Rana

Mr. Toseef Ijaz Rana has joined Descon Power Solutions (DPS) as the company’s new CEO. He is a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in business administration from LUMS. He has 25 years of extensive experience in leadership roles at power and fertiliser facilities. He formerly worked at Fatima Energy Limited as a Project Director/Director of Operations.

DPS is a market leader in Pakistan’s O&M sector, currently managing thirteen separate facilities with a combined capacity of around 1300 MW.

DPS employs over 350 technical personnel and has a demonstrated track record of operating and maintaining Open Cycle and Combined Cycle Power Plants that include Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Reciprocating Engines, and Wind Turbine Generators. Our O&M portfolio’s plants routinely function at a world-class level in terms of EHS and availability.
