Skoolify, an Infinity Studio product, is a digital services platform for educational institutions that enables fast and easy fee collection through bank accounts, credit/debit cards, or mobile wallets.
The company has entered into an agreement with National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT), one of Pakistan’s largest payment processors, to enable digital payments, especially mobile commerce, through NIFT’s DFS platform, “NIFT ePay,” enabling parents to pay all types of school fees/charges digitally via the “Skoolify App.”
Both organisations place a premium on promoting digital transactions and enabling a diverse range of consumer use cases. NIFT ePay has developed an interoperable and stable digital commerce payments portal in Pakistan that is compatible with any bank account or wallet and supports card transactions. This enables companies and individual customers to digitise their purchases, either directly via their bank accounts or wallets, or through a card.
The agreement was signed in Karachi by Haider Wahab, CEO of NIFT, and Imran Lari, CEO of Skoolify App.
Imran Lari, speaking on the occasion, said, “Skoolify App, while bringing operational automation and excellence to educational establishment management, enabling effective communication between parents and teachers, is now bringing additional payment options to both parents and school administrators, addressing various components of the education value-chase.” We are confident that this collaboration with NIFT will help us deliver on our commitment to the schooling community of improved and enhanced services on the Skoolify App platform in the future”.
“Skoolify App is enabling a much-needed use case in the market for the enablement of digital payment services using NIFT’s ePayment Gateway,” said Haider Wahab, CEO of NIFT. We are extremely excited to support Pakistani startups, owing to their agility and commitment to enabling solutions that solve market gaps. NIFT is committed to fostering unique and creative ideas that will advance Pakistan’s digital commerce. We believe that hardworking young entrepreneurs need institutional support from incumbents in order to establish and maintain creative platforms.”
