Proton Pakistan finally unveiled the much-anticipated sedan, Proton Saga, in a digital launch case. Saga is Proton’s second car in Pakistan, following the X70. The three versions of Al-Haj Proton’s Saga sedan are the Standard MT (Manual Transmission), Standard AT (Auto Transmission), and Ace AT (Auto Transmission) (Auto Transmission).
Al-Haj Motors has also launched a limited-edition Sports version of the Saga in Pakistan, which is a unique feature of the vehicle’s launch. R3 stands for ‘Race, Rally, and Research,’ and it was created to introduce Pakistanis to Proton’s motorsports vehicles. Al-Haj Proton has only 100 CBU units of this version available.
Direct competitors for the Saga include the Honda City, Toyota Yaris, and Changan Alsvin. The car, on the other hand, has a low price, making it a rival to a few hatchback options like the Kia Picanto, Suzuki Cultus AGS, and Kia Picanto, which are all priced similarly to the new sedan entrant.
The prices range between Rs 1.97 million and Rs 2.22 million.
