Toyota Motor said it developed a bundled fuel cell system module as it is seeking to increase the use of zero-emission technologies as the automotive industry migrates toward electric vehicles (EVs).
FC battery system that was previously available in separate parts has now been simplified to be an FC stationary power generator or in vehicles, such as buses, trains, and ships.
In the spring of 2021 or later, Toyota is planning to market the module to other businesses. It has not specified, though, how much it will cost or how many it will sell.
Toyota issued a statement in which they said, “Toyota has taken numerous steps in the development of a hydrogen society.”
