As a partner with Lambda Marketing Solutions, Careem has recently revealed that it will be a Digital-Out-of-Home (DOOH) Ad site. This relationship is supposed to provide a straightforward path to deliver Careem Captains who are involved in the monetisation of their vehicle with additional sources.
In the pilot phase of around 30 days, however, 20 screens were mounted, which resulted in around 36,000 views over a very short period of time. In the next period of 3 months, Careem plans to complete its installation of additional screens of about 5000, which is expected to result in 3.5 million views, and this will provide the vehicle owners and also the captains with an additional earning opportunity.
With the choice of free WiFi, the vehicles that will have the screens will also inspire both the captains and clients. In addition, this platform can also be used to view content that will support the city at a large scale, such as the attachment of traffic rules and also the usable safety features, along with many more items, for good civic sense.
