Spotify, the world’s most popular audio-streaming subscription service, was officially launched in Pakistan on Wednesday, according to local media reports.

As per the info, Spotify said it would give individuals, including local and international artists and more than 70 million songs, a customised listening experience. With more than 345 million monthly active listeners, including 155 million Paid subscribers, the audio streaming service has a worldwide culture.

With an update to Spotify Premium, a subscription service that enables users to enjoy music without ad interruptions, it provides a free service.

With an unrivalled blend of features and the ability to play through a broad range of devices and app integrations, Spotify comes to Pakistan. Fans of music will also love the personalised music suggestions from Spotify, which will help them enjoy, discover and share new music from both local and international artists.

For Rs299 per month, users can upgrade to Spotify Premium for the ultimate Spotify experience. For up to six family members living under one roof, the Premium Family subscription plan is eligible for Rs479 per month.

For two people living at the same home address, the new Spotify Premium DUO, available for Rs390 a month, is a subscription package that includes Duo Mix, a frequently updated playlist created only for the two subscribers to discover audio that they both love and enjoy together.

For students, Spotify also has a premium of as low as Rs149 per month. Also available via Telenor and Zong are direct carrier billing payment options.
