The 5th Pakistan Banking Award – the most coveted award in Pakistan’s banking sector – honored Meezan Bank Limited as Pakistan’s best bank. Meezan Bank President Irfan Siddique from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Dr Reza Baqir won the ‘Best Bank of Pakistan’ award at a ceremony here on Friday night.
The Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) and Information Partners A F Ferguson & Co. organized the Pakistan Banking Awards. The Pakistan Banking Award was introduced in 2016 and is now considered the definitive industry benchmark for banking excellence.
In three categories, including the Best Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises, Best Consumer Franchise Bank and Best Investment Banking Prize, Habib Bank Limited won awards. The Best Bank for Agriculture was declared by the National Bank of Pakistan.
