Mazad, a local portfolio company under Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, responsible for overseeing public and electronic auctions within the kingdom, has unveiled its new digital auction platform “Mazad” for Android and iOS devices, accompanied by the introduction of a refreshed website, Mazad.app. This launch marks a strategic move for Mazad, aligning with its new corporate identity and strategy aimed at leveraging advanced digital technologies to offer innovative solutions and support its overarching goals.
The newly introduced digital auction platform aims to revolutionize asset acquisition by integrating cutting-edge digital technologies. The platform empowers clients to seamlessly purchase a diverse range of assets through streamlined and advanced digital processes. This encompasses various assets, including those auctioned by government agencies, such as license plates and real estate, according to a statement issued by Mazad.
The platform provides comprehensive access to detailed information and documentation pertaining to the assets available for auction. It ensures a fully electronic auction experience, encompassing registration, insurance fees, the bidding process, payment of the remaining balance, and asset registration. This digital transformation simplifies the traditionally intricate auction process, making it more accessible and efficient for users.
Among the host of features offered by the new application, users can utilize Google Maps integration to locate assets available for auction. Additionally, an automated bidding feature enables users to set their maximum bid price, allowing the system to automatically bid on their behalf until the predefined price is achieved.
Mazad is committed to enhancing the platform further by introducing new features. This expansion will incorporate additional auction categories, encompassing distinctive car plate ranges, and diverse real estate opportunities.
CEO Talal Al Araifi expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the new digital auction platform, underscoring its alignment with the company’s new strategic direction. Al Araifi emphasized Mazad’s goal to deliver seamless services that efficiently connect potential clients with the vast spectrum of auctions. He encouraged clients and potential bidders to engage with the app, highlighting its array of features and the unparalleled digital experience it offers.
