Hilal Foods partners with Colony Foods UAE

Hilal Foods, the top FMCG firm in Pakistan, has collaborated with Colony Foods of the UAE as its sole distribution partner for the UAE region.

Faisal Munshi, CEO of Hilal Foods, and Faiz Afzaluddin, COO and Managing Director of Colony Foods, signed the deal during a signing ceremony held earlier this month in Dubai.

Hilal Foods has been producing a variety of confections, baked goods, and beverages for more than 65 years.

They have always pursued perfection by launching great products using cutting-edge production facilities. Over the past 15 years, Hilal Foods has developed solid commercial ties with customers in over 25 countries, including the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

Hilal Foods has a significant presence in the Middle East. This relationship with the top food distribution company in the United Arab Emirates, Colony Foods, will create new opportunities to enter additional markets.

“We intend to develop our network in the Middle East region by emphasising the customer in a comprehensive manner. Faisal Munshi stated, “Our objective is not only to expand the distribution of our current portfolio, but also to offer customised and innovative products to the UAE market.”

“Furthermore, we strive to bring high-value products to the international market by utilising the most advanced manufacturing techniques,” he added.

Colony Foods has more than 3,000 retailers in the UAE and is expanding its reach. In recent years, Colony Foods has developed a robust portfolio of brands that includes Pakistani and international brands.

Colony Foods collaborates with producers on market entrance strategies, product design, pricing, and promotion, while leveraging digital solutions to shorten the distance between manufacturers and retailers.

This would expedite the ability of brands to adjust to constantly shifting market trends.

“Hilal Foods is an ideal addition to our product line, since their products have an attractive price point and brand appeal in the market category in which we operate. In a short period of time, the products have received a very positive response throughout the UAE, according to Afzaluddin.

Our placement strategy for Hilal products is not restricted to the Pakistani diaspora; the brand has excellent potential in other markets, he noted.

This voyage to international markets demonstrates the company’s dedication to its primary value, which is to make people happy.
