Amazon, the e-commerce behemoth, has partnered with Pakistan Post as a facilitation centre, delivering the best possible service to Pakistani sellers in terms of company promotion and online shopping.
During a meeting, Pakistan Post Postmaster General Punjab Khawaja Imran Raza informed about Pakistan Post’s development of the Amazon Facilitation Center to aid clothing manufacturers and exporters in selling various items/commodities on behalf of the government, including garment products.
He continued by stating that Pakistan Post is perfectly poised to capitalise on Amazon’s opportunity and that the department is prepared to transport merchants’ items from their doorstep to Amazon warehouses located throughout the world.
He continued by stating that e-commerce is the best alternative, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 epidemic, because to the rapid growth of online shopping and selling.
“Pakistan Post Office has been formally authorised as the delivery partner of global e-commerce giant,” PRGMEA North Zone Chairman Adeeb Iqbal Sheikh stated.
“This is being hailed as a major victory for Pakistan’s e-commerce sector, as Pakistani products will now be accessible to millions of buyers worldwide,” he added.
