Employers’ Federation of Pakistan (EFP) – Pakistan’s largest forum for employers – has honoured Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s first and largest Islamic bank, with the Diamond Award for “Employer of the Year” in the category of “Big National Companies.”
The award was presented at the 8th Employer of the Year Awards, which took place at a local hotel in Karachi. President Dr Arif Alvi presented the award to Khalid Zaman Khan, Group Leader, Human Resources, Learning & Growth, Meezan Bank. The awards are intended to honor companies that have implemented innovative workplace methods and best practices. Winners were chosen based on their outstanding employee strategies, learning and development programmes, provision of career growth opportunities, diversity and inclusion activities, and emphasis on employee benevolence and retention practices, among other factors.
This award recognizes the Bank’s dedication to being “The Employer of Choice,” and it serves as a benchmark for achieving organizational development when implementing an effective human capital strategy.
EFP is Pakistan’s apex employer organization, which was established in 1950. The International Organization of Employers (IOE), the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Employers (CAPE), and the South Asian Forum of Employers are all members of this organization (SAFE).
