Pakistan is concentrating on information technology to modernize its infrastructure. The arrival of networks such as 3G and 4G services in remote areas of the country, on the other hand, helps to improve ecommerce and brings socioeconomic success to the region, which benefits those who live along the CPEC routes in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications, a separate organization for connectivity work is part of the ministry’s initiative to spend Rs. 1580 million on better networking infrastructure in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B).

However, an estimated 80,000 new mobile and internet subscribers have been added, and the overall project is expected to generate $300 million in revenue.

The new network and technologies are also boosting the infrastructure, and tourism is expected to rise as a result. It will also provide people with employment opportunities, which will help to improve the local economy.

Furthermore, according to sources, the hospitality sector, as well as the tourism chain’s values, is expected to improve, as it will undoubtedly improve online marketing and the ecommerce industry.
