The federal cabinet meeting decided to buy 100 vehicles equipped with a digital surveillance system for Islamabad surveillance. Up to now, 30 out of 33 security inspection posts have been eliminated from the federal capital, Federal Home Secretary Sheikh Rasheed told the meeting.

“The remaining three checkpoints will be removed following the arrival of 100 digitally equipped vehicles,” the minister told the meeting.

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the federal cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad. The meeting discussed the overall political, economic and COVID status of the country.
