SadaPay and Mastercard are collaborating to bring the first numberless and contactless-enabled card in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region to Pakistan, enabling users to make a hassle-free and secure transaction.

The numberless card provides a secure and easy way for SadaPay users to transact online as well as offline. There are also numerous physical versions of the card, which means that no one can see any financial information, thus protecting users from identity theft.

Users will have to sign up for a virtual card on the SadaPay website to receive it. To join the waitlist for the numberless card by signing up, you will also require a valid identification card. Within the SadaPay app, cardholders have their financial details safely stored.

There is an optional physical teal and peach card, which is completely free and will be delivered to you at no cost. More than 150,000 individuals have signed up for early access already.

The numberless card is secure and can also be locked, notifying users as soon as they have been charged. Additionally, at any ATM in the country, cardholders can enjoy 3 free withdrawals, free local bank transfers under Rs. 10,000 and no annual charges.

In the context of Covid-19, shopping for basic commodities, making payments and utility bills have all shifted online. Therefore, it has become vital to have a safe digital platform.

“Our focus is to provide all cardholders with a secure and secure digital experience. In order to protect consumers and merchants against fraud, Mastercard is a trusted partner that allows issuers and merchants to leverage technologies such as multiple cards to ensure the security of e-commerce and over-the-counter transactions. In partnership with SadaPay, we are truly excited to be launching the first numberless card in Pakistan and the MEA region. “Ngozi Megwa, Senior Vice President, Digital Partnerships MEA, Mastercard, said: “We continue to partner with digital players across the region to launch exciting digital solutions and share innovations to promote financial inclusion, bringing us closer to a world beyond cash.

SadaPay takes the safety of its customers very seriously and it is in that spirit that we have brought to Pakistan an innovative system like countless cards. Our users will now be able to make digital payments online and offline, in the most secure way possible. In the pursuit of customer delight, we are also working to bring even more innovative ideas to the market. This is just the beginning and we are pleased to work with Mastercard to really explore the true potential of a Pakistan that is financially involved,” said Brandon Timinsky, SadaPay’s founder and CEO.”
