PTCL collaborates with Huawei to launch smart cloud campus solution

In cooperation with Huawei Technologies Pakistan Pvt Ltd, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is launching the Smart Cloud Campus Solution for enterprise customers.

AI Enabled WIFI-6 Campus, Software Defined LAN and Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) services are included in this solution as a service. With Huawei’s next-generation autonomous driving network management and control system Cloud platform for enterprise networks, the infrastructure of these services employs PTCL’s industry-proven connectivity, capacity and data centre infrastructure.

Zarrar Hasham Khan, Chief Business Services Officer, PTCL, said on the occasion, “PTCL Business Solutions is catering to our enterprise customers’ ever-growing business needs.” Since software-defined networks are key enablers for the provision of robust, scalable and secure architecture, it will certainly help our business customers build more agile and reliable networks. As a significant milestone, PTCL provides technological innovation to accelerate the digital transformation of businesses.

Gaoweijie, Managing Director, Huawei Technologies Pakistan Pvt Ltd, said, “We are pleased to work with PTCL, Pakistan’s national carrier with a strong corporate presence in the country.” Companies will be empowered to run critical applications with full security with this solution and ensure data privacy. Not only that, with higher capacity bandwidth, network visibility, and a seamless on-ramp to the cloud with significant application performance, improved performance would be delivered.
