Daraz is working with the first EdTech for e-commerce and digital trade from Extreme Commerce Pakistan. The collaboration will allow Daraz sellers to further grow their business and strengthen their online selling skills. The vision of Extreme Commerce is to make Pakistan a global back-office center for e-commerce that aims to encourage and empower entrepreneurs to build a national ecosystem. As Pakistan’s largest information sharing and capacity building forum for e-commerce, it has a nationwide population of about half a million.

Whereas, in this digital age, Daraz believes in allowing locals to do business anywhere and has a network of 70,000 sellers nationwide.

“In the past few months, adaptability to e-commerce has increased and an increased number of sellers are moving towards online sales to make a stable living for themselves,” said Omair Baksh, Head of Marketing at Daraz. We take full responsibility for training and equipping the selling group with the right skills for their business development.

As a heart, Daraz has always focused on seller education and we are taking an additional step with this collaboration to build value for our sellers and buyers along with enhancing customer experience.

With this collaboration, Daraz and Extreme Commerce will launch tailored courses for Daraz vendors focusing on advanced training in digital trading, data analysis and other creative solutions for e-commerce business development. Daraz University has previously been one of Daraz’s main initiatives, educating 100,000+ vendors to enhance their efficiency and manage to expand their online stores on the platform.

Their goal is to create a maximum number of localized courses and tutorials focused on the most important seller requests, as well as to provide official certificates to sellers who have completed the courses.

“The time, right now, is crucial for fellow Pakistanis to concentrate on becoming part of the growing local and global e-commerce industry,” Hameer Ali, GM Company and Operations at Extreme Commerce, said. This venture focuses extensively on providing our youth with a wealth of entrepreneurship opportunities and simultaneously providing them with the ability to provide several income streams. We strive to equip our people with the correct knowledge base and skill set necessary to better perform on Daraz, enabling them to succeed in their careers and entrepreneurial routes.

The success of any e-commerce company depends heavily on customer experience, which can be enhanced by folding through education and knowledge among the seller base.

A key battle for Pakistan’s ecommerce industry has been customer confidence, which can be strengthened by experienced mentors from both organizations with ecommerce education, performance-based training and knowledge sharing.

Daraz and Intense Commerce leaders believe in revolutionizing the industry and digitizing the ecosystem by empowering the local selling population through their ongoing efforts.
