“The arrival in Pakistan of the British motor company MG is evidence that the economy of Pakistan has moved in the right direction,” PM Imran Khan said. He added that the business would play a crucial role in Pakistan’s growth. He said these rechargeable and environmentally friendly vehicles are of particular significance in the world.
The Prime Minister said the government of the PTI will continue its efforts to further improve the auto industry and called the launch “encouraging” in view of the ongoing pandemic coronavirus situation.
Pakistan has tremendous potential for excellence, he said, and the government now aims to focus all its energies on bringing unprecedented progress to each sector of Pakistan.
Javed Afridi, who helped carry to Pakistan the British motor company, praised the policies of the incumbent government. He said the company’s launch in Pakistan at the beginning of the new year showed that the country has a business-friendly climate. He said the launch would completely transform Pakistan’s auto industry.
