Abu Dhabi, UAE – Response Plus Holding PJSC, a leading healthcare service provider, has successfully acquired the UK-based Prometheus Medical, marking a significant milestone in its international expansion strategy. This acquisition is set to bolster Response Plus’s presence in the UK and Nordic markets.
Omran Al Khoori, Chairman of Response Plus Holding, confirmed the completion of the acquisition in statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM). He highlighted that Response Plus currently operates the largest private ambulance fleet in the UAE, comprising 360 vehicles, with plans to further increase this number in the near future. The company is actively seeking to expand into new international markets through strategic acquisitions and new contracts, aligning with its goal to extend its reach both regionally and globally.
Al Khoori revealed that Response Plus aims to expand its ambulance fleet in Saudi Arabia to approximately 100 vehicles by the end of this year. The company has already established the first specialized occupational health centre in Dammam as part of its strategic expansion into the Saudi market. Additionally, Response Plus Medical has achieved accreditation to begin providing services in the oil and gas sector with Saudi Aramco, underscoring its commitment to diversifying and extending its service offerings.
