China Mobile Communication Corporation, has shared its research and experience, expressing its hope for coordination and assistance from distribution companies to yield positive results and benefits for government entities.

CMPAK Limited, a subsidiary of China Mobile Communication Corporation, has requested that distribution companies take certain measures to ensure smooth operations. Firstly, they have urged the replacement of defective meters at the earliest, as this would enable CMPAK’s networking system to provide technical services to various government departments and the general public. Secondly, they have proposed charging units based on the consumption recorded by active meters or the running road of the meter before declaring them “EST-DEF” (estimated defective). Lastly, in cases where meters are unavailable in some distribution companies, CMPAK has sought the issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to enable them to purchase meters from the approved vendors of those distribution companies.

These requests from CMPAK aim to improve the efficiency and reliability of the metering system and ensure accurate billing for consumers. By addressing the issue of defective meters promptly and adopting appropriate billing methods, CMPAK aims to enhance its technical services and support the smooth functioning of government entities.

The collaboration and cooperation between CMPAK and distribution companies will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives. Through effective coordination and mutual assistance, both parties can work together to deliver optimal services to the government and the public.

It is anticipated that these efforts will result in significant benefits for government entities in terms of improved accuracy in meter readings, enhanced billing processes, and overall efficiency in the provision of services. The commitment to resolve metering issues promptly and acquire meters from approved vendors demonstrates CMPAK’s dedication to delivering high-quality services to its customers.

As CMPAK continues to work closely with distribution companies, it aims to uphold the highest standards of performance and contribute to the development of the telecommunications sector in China. By leveraging their research and experience, CMPAK seeks to optimize operations and provide seamless connectivity to government entities and the general public.
