Mahmood Khan, CM KP

KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan stated that the provincial administration is implementing E-governance in provincial departments and that a paperless governance system will be deployed shortly.

He made these remarks at the Accountant General Complex in Peshawar during the inauguration of the Solarization Project, GP Fund Automation System, and Online Payment System.

In addition, he announced a test project for an online payments system, whereby project officials will no longer be required to visit the account general office, and cheques will be issued and collected via online system.

Under the e governance effort, a document work flow management system that will save time and resources has been designed for government departments.

The province government has made all feasible measures to modernise the service delivery system, according to the chief minister.

He emphasised the necessity for prudent and effective use of available resources to steer the nation out of the current economic crisis, saying that the federal administration is squandering donated funds for publicity purposes.

He argued that rulers should be required to avoid publicity stunts and put national interests over personal ones, adding that difficult times may be endured with fortitude provided honesty and resolve are there.

Pakistanis, particularly the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have heroically confronted terrible conditions in the past and possess the potential to deal with any situation in the future.

The Prime Minister stated that the Accountant General office plays a vital role in the provision of services. The provincial government of the PTI has provided all possible assistance to the AG’s office to help them handle their issues, and our ultimate objective is to improve the overall delivery of services by integrating innovative ideas into the system.
