EU ban on PIA to be lifted soon

It is believed that the European Union would shortly lift its ban on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights.

According to sources, an Audit team of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) would conduct an online remote audit of all flight-related concerns, including flight safety and flight engineering.

According to sources, the EASA team would conduct a safety assessment of CAA and PIA before permitting flights from Pakistan to European countries.

The PIA spokesperson indicated that all preparations for the EASA online audit have been finished, and he anticipated that after the successful audit of airline operations, PIA will resume operations in Europe.

It should be mentioned that PIA was unable to travel to EU states after the EASA revoked the national airline’s permission to conduct flights to EU members.
