Rafique Suleman, convener of the Rice Committee at FPCCI, reported that Azerbaijan has eliminated the Customs Duty (CD) on rice imports from Pakistan until 2027.
He stated that this breakthrough will aid in the expansion of rice exports.
He praised the actions taken by the Azerbaijani administration to promote trade between the two nations.
In addition, he commended the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) for developing a new trade route with Azerbaijan, which will increase rice exports by $20 million annually.
