Saima Group has struck an agreement with Agha Steel Industries Limited, a prominent steel manufacturing business, to deliver Green Electric Arc Furnace Technology steel rebars solely to its first-of-its-kind Eco-Friendly Green Housing Structure Project, “Saima Premium Residency.”

By establishing a 2.25-Megawatt solar power project and signing a term sheet with Engro Energy for Renewable Energy, Agha Steel Industries ushered in a Green Steel Revolution by ensuring the sustainability of its energy mix. “Our state-of-the-art plant uses scrap-based Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) technology,” Agha added. We lessen our reliance on natural resources by employing recycled scrap as our raw material. The Green Arc Furnace Technology is environmentally beneficial since its CO2 Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption intensities are roughly 7 times lower than the global steelmaking average.”
