Fatima Group, a Pakistani industrial giant, has secured multibillion-dollar agreements with two agriculture companies, one from China and the other from Saudi Arabia.

At the Dubai Expo, Arabia will showcase Pakistan’s superior precision farming.

The alliance’s Corporate Agriculture Farming project aims to unlock Pakistan’s underutilized land resources by cultivating fallow areas for the long-term production of crops like rice, barley, oats, livestock silage bales, and dairy businesses.

China Machinery Engineering Company (CMEC) and Saudi Arabia’s Sarh Attaqnia Co. (SAC) formalized their relationship during a formal meeting held at the Pakistan Pavilion during Expo 2020’s Agriculture Week.

“We appreciate our Chinese and Saudi counterparts’ trust and faith in us,” said Mian Fawad Ahmed Mukhtar, chairman of the Fatima Group and CEO of Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited. “I am confident that this milestone will pave the way for many more such collaborations and investment opportunities in the future,” he added.

CMEC will support Pakistan in the adaption of climate-smart precision agricultural farm technology, enhanced high-yielding seeds, and other crop inputs as a technological partner.
