Prowire, MENA’s First Market Network for Professional Services Is All Set to Target US $7 Trillion Market

Professional services space is around US $7.0 trillion globally and US $400 billion within the MENA region; almost all of it is largely served offline. There is an enormous gap to be filled for budding freelancers and mushrooming small and medium-sized businesses.

Prowire is an e-commerce platform aiming to commoditize professional services through a market network approach. Currently delivering professional services over its web-based marketplace and has carried out the groundwork for the Prowire Network and a suite of SAAS tools to follow in the coming months that would be a game-changer for the professional service marketplace.

The startup founders and a close group of Angel Investors have funded an initial investment of US $300,000. Prowire is currently seeking US $1.5 million as Seed Funding for the Growth, Development, and Marketing for the company; out of which it has received partial soft commitments from VC funds in the region.

The founders of Prowire come with the right mix of experience, with Arshad Gadit having over 20 years of experience in delivering professional service and Aamir Saleem with over 15 years of experience with big tech companies and e-commerce startups. They are supported by co-founders Asad Aftab, Ali Asghar, and Sikander Gadit who bring along a much-needed mix of professional services, investments and operation management experience of over 30 years in total.
