Bank Alfalah Launches Alfa Payment Gateway to Facilitate E-commerce Payments

Bank Alfalah, Pakistan’s largest financial institution, has launched a simple, secure, and innovative online payment gateway to enable the acceptance of online payment transactions for a variety of e-commerce needs.APG is a comprehensive solution that addresses all of an online business’s digital payment needs. Alfa Payment Gateway’s (APG) primary offerings include the following:

  • Digital Onboarding in an Instant
  • There is no setup fee or annual fee, and the transaction fees are the lowest available.
  • Numerous Payment Methods – Credit/Debit Cards from All Banks, Bank Alfalah Accounts & Wallets
  • Three-Dimensional Security and Fraud Management
  • Finance for Merchants

Bank Alfalah has digitized and simplified the merchant onboarding process, allowing merchants to be onboarded and collect payments instantly.

APG is intended for use by all types of e-commerce merchants, corporate entities, small and medium-sized businesses, and home-based businesses. Additionally, to meet the needs of merchants operating on social media platforms and those without a website or app, a ‘Pay by Link’ invoicing system has been developed to enable digital payment collection.

Additionally, the platform is technology agnostic, allowing for simplified integrations with platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, and Shopify via plug-ins. Additionally, a robust merchant portal is available, complete with user-friendly interfaces, analytical tools, and refund/chargeback management.

Atif Bajwa, CEO of Bank Alfalah, commented on the development, stating, “The scope of digital banking and e-commerce is rapidly expanding in Pakistan, with customers gravitating toward online channels in significant numbers.”
