FINCA Microfinance Bank appoints Jahanzeb Khan as new CEO

Mr. Jahanzeb Khan has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited (the ‘Bank’).

Mr. Jahanzeb Khan, a seasoned business leader, will take over as CEO of the Bank on 14th June 2021. Mr. Jahanzeb Khan provides 23 years of experience in fintech, financial services, and banking from both the global and local levels. He is a globally recognised authority on reforming and developing financial services solutions.

Prior to joining Telenor Microfinance Bank, Mr. Jahanzeb Khan worked for one of the world’s top financial services firms (JPMorgan Chase & Co.), a blue-chip management consulting firm (Deloitte Consulting), and a Fintech startup – First USA Bank (acquired by JPMorgan).

Mr. Jahanzeb Khan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the University of Delaware, completed the Wharton Business School’s Program for Working Professionals, and then completed executive leadership programmes at Wharton and Harvard Business Schools.
