Pakistan Post Office has been legally confirmed as an Amazon delivery partner, according to the official handout.
Additionally, the Postal Service would prioritize a list of approved storage locations in nine cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Karachi. Facilitation centres will be built in the nine cities indicated by the 15th of June, subject to government restrictions.
According to a circular, the Pakistan Post Office has appointed senior officers from nine sites across the country to ensure effective facilitation of export-worthy products from local traders and industrial partners. Additionally, the circular directs the Post Office to establish relationships with front companies in other countries that assist Amazon’s supply chain.
Additionally, in view of the country’s historic achievement, the Post Office’s Director General has urged all pertinent officials and stakeholders to expeditiously finish all pending preparations to integrate their services with Amazon’s global platform.
