Pakistan’s Largest Textile Firm, Interloop Limited to Invest $300M in Upcoming 5 Years

Interloop Limited, one of the largest hosiery manufacturers in the world, expects to invest $300 million over the next five years to double sales as part of its “Vision 2025” strategy.

Interloop Limited is pleased to inform you that its Vision 2025 has been established following a thorough exercise, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

According to management, the vision calls for the company’s revenue to double by FY2025-26 as compared to FY2020-21. Additionally, to realise its goal of doubling earnings, the company will spend $300 million over the next five years to add a knitwear apparel factory, an ActiveWear plant, a Denim fabric mill, a sixth hosiery plant, and to develop its spinning and yarn dyeing capabilities.

It was established in 1992 in Faisalabad with ten knitting machines. After a series of expansions, it is now a fully vertically integrated enterprise with state-of-the-art spinning, yarn dyeing, knitting, and finishing facilities; it is also one of Pakistan’s largest exporters and one of the largest publicly traded companies on the Pakistan Stock Exchange by market capitalization.

Interloop Limited earned Rs. 26.26 billion in sales and Rs. 2.904 billion in profit after tax in 1HFY21.
