According to Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Pakistan’s first media university will be installed in an eight-year-old vacant building in Islamabad.
He also mentioned that the government would send professors to Pakistan from a renowned British university and system.
Additionally, the federal minister confirmed that the building, which is expected to cost millions of dollars, would include a five-star hotel. According to Chaudhry, the 52-room hotel will be run by a public-private partnership.
According to him, the decision was made to incorporate all emerging technologies being taught globally at the media university. He added that for the first time in Pakistan, animation, sound, and lighting will be taught, and that the media university will become the best in the South Asia region.
