KP Government to Allow Facebook Monetization in Pakistan

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly voted unanimously to allow Facebook to earn money in Pakistan.

Ziaullah Bangash, a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Member of Parliament, submitted the resolution.

According to the resolution, the provincial government should approach the federal government about “enabling” Facebook’s monetization so that youth can benefit and earn money.

According to the resolution, the National Assembly’s speaker had already met with Facebook officials and agreed to take steps to “turn on” the site’s monetization in the region.

It continued by stating that the change could benefit the country’s 50 million Facebook users, especially youth.
