Careem expands its Corporate Portfolio, partners with PTCL

Careem, the Mega App for the Middle East and Pakistan, has formed a strategic alliance with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. (PTCL) to provide cost-effective mobility solutions to the latter’s employees for their commuting needs.

Careem can offer secure, hassle-free, and convenient mobility to 16,000+ employees in multiple locations across the country as a result of this agreement. A signing ceremony was held at PTCL’s headquarters in Islamabad to commemorate the occasion, with senior executives from both organizations in attendance.

Careem for Business currently provides cost-effective, safe, and hassle-free mobility to a variety of corporate partners, including Jazz, K-Electric, Daraz, Telenor, Habib Bank Limited (HBL), United Bank Limited (UBL), Nestlé, Haleeb Foods, and Afiniti, in order to fulfill its mission of simplifying and improving the lives of those who use the service every day for their commute to and from work.

Careem, which was recently designated as a Super App, currently has over 800,000 Captains registered on its website. Careem is developing into a Mega App, with many opportunities as it extends its offerings beyond people mobility to include stuff mobility and money mobility, such as food, daily critical deliveries, peer-to-peer credit transfer, and mobile top-ups.
