Three New Airlines to Launch Soon in Pakistan

Three new airlines have submitted applications to Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for regulatory approval to begin operations. Jet Green Airlines is still going through the process, and two airlines, Q-Airlines and Fly Jinnah, have already finished their scrutiny.

The applications would be submitted to the Aviation Division after all review had been done. The applications would then be sent to the federal cabinet for final approval. This would raise the number of private carriers in the country to six, serving a population of 217 million.

There are currently three airlines in service in the country: Airblue, SereneAir, and AirSial. The country’s biggest and oldest airline, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), is the national carrier.
