The Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mahmood Khan, has approved the establishment of an agriculture university in Swat.
The decision was made by the CM, which, after obtaining a final report on the proposed university departments, chaired a meeting with officials from the divisions concerned, encompassing academic programmes consistent with all aspects of agricultural ergonomics.
In a thorough discussion of the project, CM Khan noted that the new university would be crucial to the backdrop of KP’s National Agriculture Emergency Plan, adding that the project would also provide full access to quality agricultural courses and bootstrap the existing pool of farmers towards better facilities and better enterprises.
