President Nasser Hayatt Maggo of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has named experienced business and corporate leader Usama Qureshi to the Pakistan-UK Business Council as its senior vice president for 2021, a statement said on Tuesday.
It added that the council is required to facilitate and encourage Pakistan’s business community to promote bilateral trade, investment, business ties, and trade shows.
Qureshi shared his genuine desire to assist local companies in seeking more UK export orders, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
He believes that export-led growth is important for job development and a soft image of Pakistan is portrayed.
In addition, as the convener of its central standing committee on corporate relations and communications, the FPCCI president has appointed Qureshi. He will spearhead and consolidate corporate ties across all Pakistan’s industries and regions, it added.
