Skills Todo Launched its eLearning platform, for skills in demand, Nationwide

A landmark in Pakistan’s EdTech industry was Feb 12th, 2021, where another EdTech company called Skills Todo was officially launched nationwide.

The launch event took place at Pearl Continental Lahore, where the ceremony was attended by several industry experts to express their support and appreciation. And we could see this launch as a celebration of its kind for a startup that was a trendsetter in itself.

By offering courses that are under 90 minutes and are no more than 2500 PKR, Skills Todo provides a unique learning experience. All of these courses are also delivered by some of Pakistan’s best domain experts who have not only made a fortune out of these talents, but have gained international recognition.

Facebook digitally joined the event and Sehar Tariq, Facebook’s Public Policy Manager, praised both Skills Todo as an eLearning platform and the founder, Ayesha Zaman Hammaad, as a female entrepreneur, said, “Ayesha has worked so hard in her company and today with the launch of this platform, she has proven that if you work hard, anything is possible not only for you but for hundreds and hundreds.” So I hope this platform will help hundreds and thousands of other people.

The key is to learn skills, and the key is to learn as much as possible. Success would not be for women to learn for themselves, but for women to build a voice and an atmosphere.
To help other women learn as well, said Azhar Rizvi, Pakistan’s renowned entrepreneurship coach and mentor, encouraging women’s role in uplifting economies.

Dr. Shahid A. Zia, a social entrepreneur, chairman of Corporate Affairs, and a seasoned professional, said, ‘We need to think about skills and abilities.’

Skills Todo joined hands with a range of prominent incubators, online communities, as ‘Knowledge Partner’ social programmes to help inspire their beneficiaries to learn skills and pave a better career route.

The fascinating thing to learn here is that by making it to the top 5 percent of startups at Startany, a platform that links startups and investors internationally, Skills Todo has already made it to its first international recognition.

As an eLearning site, our mission is to help upskill and reskill individuals for a better career in a way that is both easy on the wallet and on the schedule. Ayesha Zaman Hammaad, Founder and CEO of Skills Todo, says, “We have worked diligently to maintain the quality of our content by having some of the best industry experts who make a good fortune from the skills they teach.”

With 16 courses on various skills in demand, the platform has started and there are hundreds in the pipeline that we can see in the months to come.
