RINSTRA, Walee sign agreement to train 400,000 new content creators

On Monday, RINSTRA, Pakistan’s first short-form digital media network, signed a partnership with Walee, Pakistan’s first AI-driven, largest and fastest social commerce and marketing influencer platform, to engage and train 400,000 new content creators and create a Rs 4.8 billion creative economy.

The collaboration will include entrepreneurial opportunities, training and competitions for content creation to upskill creators across the digital media ecosystem in Pakistan. A signing ceremony was held here on Monday in connection with this.

Walee, driven by Techlets (Pvt) Ltd, is the fastest growing marketing and social commerce influencer site in Pakistan with more than 50,000 users in 250 cities.

RINSTRA will work with the increasing content creators of Walee for digital storytelling in a mutually beneficial partnership for all stakeholders and enable them to monetise their work.

Dr. Adil Akhtar, chairman and co-founder of RINSTRA Technologies, said at the signing ceremony that we are excited to partner with Walee on this new revolutionary endeavor that will set a new priority for the country’s creative economy.

We are optimistic that this collaboration will foster the innovation and digital storytelling of Pakistani artists and create new dimensions of entrepreneurship that do not exist in Pakistan. Through creative arts, regardless of their venue, we strive to make all Pakistani talent across the globe.

Ahsan Tahir, Founder and CEO of Walee and Techlets, said that with Pakistan’s total internet traffic growing by 25 percent, the Covid lockdowns drove record high digital content consumption. With mobile-accessible users reaching one hundred million this year, to benefit from rising global audiences, we must expand our digital creative culture.

With RINSTRA, while monetising their work, we can help encourage and highlight our creative talent.

We plan to contribute further to Pakistan’s digital economy by enhancing new and increasing revenue streams from the arts.

RINSTRA will involve content creators in numerous thematic video competitions to drive monetised content that is creative, entertaining and informative, while building a cultural force that will contribute to the employment of tomorrow.

Amir Jahangir, co-founder and CEO of RINSTRA, said on the occasion that Pakistan’s creative industry is about to witness an unparalleled opportunity, covering the peri-urban and the interiors, not limited to metros and urban Pakistan.
