KP to launch business support for disabled persons

The Provincial Council for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, agreed on Friday to initiate a business support project to provide jobs for persons with disabilities. The decision was taken at the 41st meeting of the Council held here with the president, Secretary of Social Welfare, Manzoor Ahmad, while Dr. Hasham Inamullah Khan, KP Minister of Social Weflare, attended on special invitation. The Council agreed to provide worthy and brave disabled people with a freight loader, crop harvesting machine, wheat grinding machine and ice cream making machine to gain honourable livelihoods for their families. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hasham Inamullah Khan, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, said that under the leadership of KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, the provincial government is taking solid steps, according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, to provide jobs and other facilities for special persons.
